Now working for her own consultancy near Munich, Andrea is still very much engaged in the global HR procurement community and will bring a wealth of experience and insight to this year’s ProcureCon HR conference in Amsterdam as a discussion moderator and chairperson.

Jon Kesman

Jon Kesman is a Global Procurement Director with Allegis Global Solutions. In this role, Jon is responsible for working with clients to implement and expand Allegis’ Services Procurement solutions to better manage complex spend categories, introducing greater visibility, increased compliance and improving efficiency and cost control.

Jon has spent his entire 20 year career in indirect procurement, with a focus on Contingent Labour and Professional Services. Jon has a breadth of experience in developing and delivering category, strategic sourcing and spend management strategies in the complex areas of Consulting, HR Services, and Legal, and also has extensive experience in implementing and managing multi-country Contingent Labour programmes. 

Throughout his tenure in roles across consulting, procurement outsourcing, and steady-state strategic procurement organizations, Jon has kept focus on delivering cost savings, increasing visibility and insight, mitigating risk, introducing process efficiency and focusing on compliance to regulations and laws governing the management of non-employee resources.

Jon is a frequent presenter on his experience and successes at various procurement and industry best practice events, and he holds a B.A. in Purchasing and Operations Management from Michigan State University.

Jonathan Winters recently took over as head of procurement at the merchant bank Close Brothers having led the non-tech procurement team for Bank of America Merrill Lynch for 2 years. Previously Jonathan held senior sourcing positions at other major banks including Barclays, Llyods and HSBC making him an expert on procurement of HR and other categories in the finance sector. Joining ProcureCon HR and Extended Workforce for the first time Jonathan and his colleague Michael will offer transferable lessons in procurement of HR services in big and small finance.

Prior to this, Karl was Global Client Relationship Lead for BP, one of our largest and most prestigious MSP customers. Managing over a $1 billion in spend, he was responsible for providing global strategic account management as well as solution development and workforce consultative services across BP’s global operations. In addition, Karl was responsible for supporting the growth and development Global Solutions, and of the Natural Resource vertical across EMEA and Asia Pacific. 

With over 25 years’ spent designing, implementing, procuring and managing complex enterprise wide outsourced MSP and RPO solutions, Karl brings an extensive level of experience to the team particularly in the areas of defining successful stakeholder engagement models and maintaining productive executive level client relationships . This includes tenures in Procurement at Citigroup with regional responsibility for HR Services and Flexible Staffing across EMEA and APAC, as well as significant experience gained in the cultivation and development of productive strategic alliances and partnerships between global MSP and RPO organisations. 

In his time, Karl has been instrumental in the development of solutions for AT&T, Merrill Lynch, CSC, Travelport, Transport for London (TfL) and Citigroup to name but a few. He is an expert on guiding clients towards the consideration and adoption of “blended” solutions, that allow organisations to effectively attract, assess, select, deploy and manage resources globally, irrespective of whether their requirements fall into the permanent or temporary staffing areas.
